Are You Ready, Rapture Ready That Is?

You have got to check this out. I thought it was great, but greatly hyped up. It is called Rapture Ready. Particularly check out the Rapture Index, which is the "prophetic speedometer of end-time activity." It factors in everything from financial unrest global warming, drug abuse, unemployment, and civil rights among others as key components to gauge when the rapture is going to take place. Isn't this fascinating??? What kind of lives do these people live? Updated for October 3, the Rapture Ready Index was 161, a record high for 2005. The all-time record is 182. For an explanation of the index categories, click here. Here is the grading scale for the Rapture Ready Index as described on their website: Rapture Index of 85 and Below: Slow prophetic activity Rapture Index of 85 to 110: Moderate prophetic activity Rapture Index of 110 to 145: Heavy prophetic activity Rapture Index above 145: Fasten your seat belts You know what that means don't you? We are above 145, so fasten your seatbelts folks! And oh, I thought I'd leave you with the current top 10 prophetic events for the rapture: 1. Hurricane Katrina & Rita 2. The supply of oil 3. Global terrorism 4. China's growing economic and military might 5. Unrest in the Middle East 6. Nation ID initiatives 7. Apostasy in the Church 8. Infectious diseases 9. The European Union's political merger 10. Global Warming My favorite: Global Warming. How about that? Al Gore would be proud. Anyway. For those of you who seriously believe in a pre-tribulation rapture event, have you considered any biblical evidence to support that belief? Now, you can't call Tim Lahaye's Left Behind series your Bible either (though some of you may want to). And oh, I think they left one other indicator out: Michael Jackson being declared innocent. That surely has some end-time prophecy index to it, you think?
